We’ve put together Animana’s Top Cora vest and Everlane’s The Way-High® Drape Pant (trousers) to give you a smart-casual understated look which can be worn as work wear or dressed up with heels for a night out. We’ve paired this style with Nisolo’s Women’s Huarache Sandal in brandy to add to the smart casual look and accessorise the outfit with a beautiful Woven Wide Band Ring from a brand called Turquoise Mountain Myanmar available at Powered by People. Animana’s Top Cora vest in blue has been selected for our item pick because of its 100% linen composition making it a very light and airy garment. It has a round neck design with a slit detail which allows you to wear it as a V neck if you choose. Restylist love this top because of its versatility of wearing it in almost any style, whether it be paired with either a pair of trousers or a simple skirt or for styling it casual or for a more formal look for the office or evening wear.
Restylist loves the sustainable brand Everlane for their classic styles, particularly their The Way-High® Drape Pant (trousers). The high waist, with a flattering pleat design and wide-leg cut trousers all add to the reason why Restylist loves this item. Wear it with a chunky knit cropped jumper for a warm Winter look or a sleeveless cotton blouse in the Summer. We especially love how comfortable these trousers are, which I’m sure is down to their lightweight, breathable fabric, made up of 60% Tencel Lyocell and 40% Cotton, which drapes so beautifully and is just so soft to the touch.
Nisolo is one of our favourite footwear brands at Restylist for the transparency they offer on all their products. Their Women’s Huarache Sandal is a must have in all of our wardrobes, not just because they come in 11 different colour ranges but because you can really see the artisanal craftsmanship in the design which sets it apart from other flat shoe/sandals. Made from soft hand woven sustainable vegetable-tanned leather which is water resistant, the sandal is very convenient to wear and versatile enough to suit any style.
At Restylist we are in love with the independent brand, Turquoise Mountain Myanmar which is a beautiful jewellery brand based in Burma and available at our favourite sustainable marketplace, Powered by People. Their unassuming handcrafted Woven Wide Band Ring in 18kt gold and sterling silver is the perfect design to wear with any style.
Stella McCartney’s Stella by Stella V Series Variegated Stripe Coat is the perfect Winter coat for all the Winters yet to come until eternity. A timeless coat with padded shoulders, buttoned cuffs and a double breasted front with a two tone design that makes this coat a very desired piece for any wardrobe. At Restylist, we love the variegated stripe design which references artist Frank Stella’s V Series (1968). The coat can be thrown over any outfit, to give you the warmth needed for the cold Winter months. Layer it with a long chunky scarf and long flat boots with jeans and a jumper to create a comfy layered look.
