A wonderful collaboration with James, a master leather craftsman based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK. We bartered our skills to produce five unique bags up-cycled from pre-loved leather shoes, boots and metal belts.

organic t-shirts with digital prints

collaboration with barbara - dressmaker/embroidery

Silai's most recent collection (and work in progress) is a wonderful collaboration with Barbara, a talented dressmaker and embroidery expert from Slovakia whose based in Winchester, Hampshire,UK. Barbara uses her skills to machine sew each individual print onto the T-Shirt, including all the mini prints. We decided to sew each print so that we can bring back our love for sewing as embellishment.
