Today’s look is all about feeling good, feeling comfortable and most importantly, looking like a million dollars without looking like you’ve given it much thought. This casual but sophisticated look, worn for a morning brunch date with friends in one of Hampstead’s cool cafes, has been created by putting together Animana’s Aya Blouse in white cotton and Maison De Mode Cindy High Rise Skinny in Elder Creek . The whole look has been accessorised with the Mallo Tall Boot from Chloe and complemented with the The Frayme bag available at Stella McCartney and finished off with the Exode Trench Coat in white from Lacher Prise.
Looking for the perfect white blouse? Well Animana’s Aya Blouse is a must have for any wardrobe and a favourite at Restylist. Made from 100% cotton the blouse comes with a Mao collar which you can wear open or closed, depending on which look you’re going for that day. We particularly love the wide sleeves with a length that reaches just above the elbow. Wear it with your favourite pair of skinny jeans, tucked in at the front and left loose at the back for that casual but cool look.
Now I know skinny jeans aren’t everyone’s favourite or the most comfortable jeans to wear but the Cindy High Rise Skinny in Elder Creek from Maison De Mode goes far beyond being just comfortable. The high-rise waist (perfect for those of us over 40!) and the soft organic stretch fabric makes this jean a staple in our capsule wardrobe. We love the fact that the stretch element in the fabric is made from 100% recycled materials and you won’t find any micro-plastics in this garment also. Throw these jeans on with your favourite cashmere jumper for those ‘I can’t be bothered’ but ‘want to look like I made an effort’ days and feel like you can accomplish anything that day.
